Amtrak #68012 Harrisburg (Phase III silver; red, white, blue)
A must-have for many modern HO Scale eastern U.S. Amtrak trains, the ready-to-run Kato Viewliner II Diner is based on the cars built to replace aging Heritage Fleet cars on many Amtrak runs. Used for passenger dining service, several of these cars are operated on eastern long-distance trains using Viewliner cars. This car, based on CAF-built prototypes, features interior details, appropriate trucks, an exterior finish that matches other Kato cars and magnetic knuckle couplers. Kato Viewliner II cars also have provisions to add interior lights, sold separately.
