Shortly after the New York Central/Pennsylvania merger, management decided a more vibrant image was needed, and the PC logo was revised with a red letter P, followed some time later by an orange “C.” This new volume takes a closer look at this short-lived change applied to fewer than 200 locomotives, with beautifully reproduced period photos in color.
